For me they have their place in the kit. I mainly use them to get to the sternum and then once I have the deer open cut the diaphragm. Fixed blade does well too. Just my preference.
I live outside Marysville, OH and am an IT manager. I have 3 kids and spend my free time playing with them or shuttling them to sports, completing home projects my wife comes up with, or tinkering with my bows if outside hunting season.
