Optic for FE x Henry 45-70

Yeah, I've gone the LPVO route on my 45-70 as well. I had a Primary Arms 1-6 x 24 at the back of the cupboard doing nit muxh. Cheap and not that cheerful, but it serves a purpose and neither deer nor boar seem to give care what I'm looking thru. Same rational as Jacob ☝️

Your first rifle. Where is it now?

First rifle was a Tikka T3. Still have it in my safe. Still shoots sub MoA groups a few thousands of rounds later, same factory barrel. Still stalking with with it too. First shotgun was a fabarm side by side, also still in my safe and still gets used on driven days in my plus 4s and flat cap!

This! I'm obliged to keep my firearms in a safe, so I got 4 of them, then upgraded to an armoury! It's a pain in the ass to sell them and get sign off for a new one, so I just keep em all.

Back in the day it used to open at Friday 6pm and serve pretty much straight through till Sunday at noon. It...

    Chris from the Cuds

Evening all from the UK. Probably do a few months in the cells just for posting here, much less killing deer, pigs, peasants etc, but fuck it, may as well go down shooting! Angry drunk. Even angrier sober! Looking forward to sharing stories from the field and having a bit of laugh along the way...
