    Gear Q&A

I read @Jason Vincent review on the RXM and was impressed. I wanted to know how the rest of the FE staff feels about the gun and what is the current round count that has been shot through it.

    Gear Q&A

Any shot at getting a pair of FE Vellies in a size 13 or 14? The only size in stock on the website is a 9. I would be willing to do laps in them and pay for them. Win-Win. Edit: there are apparently none in any size in stock. I may need to modify my offer to pay for the boots and negotiate laps...

    Anyone for Vintage?

I’d consider something made in 1995 to be in its prime.

    Anyone for Vintage?

1968 C10. Radio doesn’t work, no AC, and only a six cylinder, but the best experience for me driving. I wish companies would come back out with a very analog truck. Just the basics.

Books that shaped your outlook on adventure or manhood.

The Word of God. And to clarify, I mean the Bible. All of life’s questions can be answered here. As mentioned by others, the series involving Brian written by Gary Paulsen. Gave me the mindset that I could probably survive a moose attack as well as a burning desire to own an AR-7 survival...

Books that shaped your outlook on adventure or manhood.

That series by Gary Paulsen made me feel like I could conquer anything that had to do with the outdoors. I didn’t read much as a child, and still don’t, but those books I could not put down.

Love it when buddies remind me I’m #1.

    Centerfire Rifle Calibers

    6. Most of my rifles were passed along to me from my papa and dad. I don’t really have a reason to venture to other calibers as the ones in the safe can do just about anything in the States. I would like to add the Lords Caliber: both Old Testament and New Testament.

Everyday carry dump. What’s in your pockets right now?

Other than a beat up old wallet, this is the bare essentials. I’ll rotate the Kimber Ultra TLE maybe once or twice a week but this setup has been my most consistent. I’ve been looking at a good carry blade but have a hard time putting the Case in the safe as it was a wedding gift from my wife.

    Lung darts

We would go to family reunions on the tobacco farm every summer. Nothing beats the smell of a barn full of tobacco.

    Uncle T's Taco build

Instead of sanding and repainting, have you considered using a matte black wrap? It may not make sense to wrap from a cost standpoint though since it sounds like you will be doing all of the labor yourself.

    Lung darts

Very nice setup. I also agree with the mindset that a cigarette has its place as does a cigar. I don’t golf but when asked to go once or twice a year I find the cigar to be enjoyable for that occasion. On the flip side, a cigarette while coyote hunting gets the mind sharp. As long as the wind...

    Matt in Upstate SC

Fellow Upstate SC native. Not a bad place to live. Great fishing in the upstate and a short ride to fish in Edisto.

    Lung darts

It’s very rare that I smoke at this chapter of my life, but I still enjoy the Cowboy Killers and a Camel Blue whenever the opportunity arises. What is your favorite pack of smokes or cigarettes from way back that you still wish you could purchase. My grandpa (in my profile picture) always spoke...

    Carry Gun

How does it feel in the hand compared to a Glock? The grip looks more like a Glock profile as opposed to the traditional 1911 grip profile. Also, is there anything you have changed or are you running it just as it came from the factory?
