    I have a Fix and a Boombox, both 8.6 blackout. Neither have failed to put down what I was aiming at. Wild boar here in Oklahoma don’t stand a chance.

    Making 308 sexy again

    No doubt, .308 is one of my favorite rounds, and the caliber I have the most rifles chambered in. I have 6.5, .300 Win Mag, .338 LM, 8.6 blackout, etc., but more often than not I reach for one of the .308s first. Reliable, and easy to buy anywhere, with plenty of range.

    Show us your rig. What’s your setup for the field?

    Ford F350, will get me just about anywhere, set up with solar. Ford Raptor for other areas when I want to get there fast.

    Generally carrying a Bul Armory Tac Pro 4.25 or Atlas EOS, But if I need to go smaller I carry a Nighthawk Custom Carry Plus.

    What are you carrying currently?

    Currently carrying Bul Armory Tac Pro 4.25” and an Atlas EOS using Gunslinger or Southern Trapper holsters. If in gym shorts or sweats I use a Phlster Enigma.

    Where’s home base for you and what do you do when you’re not working?

    When not working I call the San Bois Mountains North of Wilburton, OK home. Off the grid and enough land to hunt, fish, and not see another human for as long as I need to unwind.
