For being the single most depreciating brand on earth, they really aren't difficult to maintain if you have decent mechanical skills.

I stock bottles in my office at work and encourage all the guys to come by after they clock out and BS and drink whatever is up there, cheap or expensive. Some of the best evenings have been in that room or out back watching the sun set with those guys. So gay, so awesome.
Are these allocations a state thing? I usually just drive to the nearest place that carries whiskey/bourbon and buy how ever many I'm in the mood for. I've purchased $1k bottles of Pappy Van from the corner store a couple blocks over.
I'm interested in this too; I used to use Untappd for keeping track of beers but it forced a habit and got out of hand, (never drinking the same beer twice.)

Anyone else build dumb guns just because you like the look or mostly pointless use? I built this recently, have a Sig Romeo 5 Gen II and light showing up next week for it.
I have a couple buddies that I work with who came directly from Buck knives, I've been lucky enough to receive some rare stuff from them and this is my most recent acquisition, definitely a keeper.
Went to buy a workbench from a guy and he asked if I was interested in guns, I said sure and he went and grabbed a pistol case; had a Polymer P80 in it that was mostly finished but he said he couldn't figure out why it didn't work right, said he'd take $50 for it. Done.

First firearm that I ever owned, my dad gave to me for my 18th birthday, R1A1 Imbel FAL with some cheap scope he put on it, still have it and it's hanging in my gun closet; used it for deer hunting last year. (Photo is mid gun closet assembly and not finished.)
All Colt M16A1, bought the parts kit for $250~ a looong time ago and got an Intlmilco receiver for next to nothing ... don't remember why I sold it, only that I was stupid.
