The UP is full, but you guys might fit in...

Nothing is more UP than ripping a sled 30 yards in the woods off a road and passing traffic in the dark. Fond memories.

    Waterfowl Addicts

We don’t target them. Some crews put out huge spreads, but the farmers drive around and shoot at them from the road to get them out of the fields so they are constantly moving. Occasionally they get close and it is an experience if you are downwind and can pick em off on the edges and they circle.

    Charlie's Guide to Poor Decisions

I read four of Robert Ruark’s books last year and have been staring at Poor No More and Women without a lot of desire to jump in. Need to change it up. Thanks for these recommendations.

    Whats on Your Wrist?

I was in Baltimore for years, Annapolis now. Hunt a lot outside of Chestertown. One of my hunting buds always has tall boys of random ‘old man’ beers- Old Milwaukee, Natty Boh, high life, etc.

What’s the one place everyone should visit before they die?

Patagonia was an indelible experience for me. Lots of vertical, harsh weather, good steak, and very kind people.

    Watch nerds please help me

Doxa and Ball both have cool heritages and can be picked up for reasonable prices. I’m a believer is buy once. Not saying you have to go full out but stretch the budget a bit to buy quality. Chrono24 is an app where you can find used watches, different people have different views on buying used...

    Waterfowl Addicts

Tis the season. The snows showed up on the farm today. Unfortunately none got close enough, but always cool to watch.

    Whats on Your Wrist?

Grand Seiko GMT. Was in Tokyo for work and had to pull the trigger. Haven’t regretted it for a moment. Always on the wrist hunting, fishing, and just living life. I’m in client service and GS is a sleeper brand that only watch people appreciate which is something I appreciate.

UP is definitely a sleeper. The honest winters helps keep the Yuppies at bay.

    Funny Shit Rich Guys Say

Two partners at my firm were bragging about each of their personal chefs and it got chippy. In real time they decided to swap for a month and aligned on logistics based on summer travel plans. After they left a junior staffer in the room asked “did they just trade humans?” 😆
