No matter what you pick, think about dealer network and support, parts availability, aftermarket support (trust me you’ll get the bug to customize it) and resale value. Message me if you want. I’ve dove down this rabbit hole researching various side by side’s recently when I bought mine.

Agreed it’s difficult to find a blaze orange hat that looks cool, but I have full confidence FE could pull it off. I think the irony of the “Safety Third” hat in blaze orange would be a big hit.

Some dumb ass on armslist sold me his grandpa’s 16 ga Fox sxs for $300 once. Had a little wear and patina on it, but overall in really good condition.

Marlin Model 60 .22. Dad won it at his work Christmas party back in the early 80s and it became mine when I was around 10. Still in the safe, still confident a squirrel is gonna have a bad day if I pull it out.

If you dont care about having an enclosure with heat and air, I would strongly recommend the Honda Pioneer 1000. Mine has been absolutely problem free at 4500 miles.
