    7mm Backcountry thoughts?

I think its a cartridge that was built to fix a problem that didnt really exist. I dont see it catching on in a big way or ammo availability ever being good for it. As far as reloading the steel cases all kinds of questions there. Now all that said if it works for you and you love it thats all...

    Dumb guns?

Not a dumb gun but be leary if you have a friend building a rifle for you. You never know what surprises may be hidden on it....

    Watch nerds please help me

I think I grossly underestimated the depth of this rabbit hole.... my concern with a mod is will the case actually be waterproof? Will have to look more into the sangin line. I am deffinately looking at diving/tool watches. Hoping to find one i like for everyday. Pros/cons to a solar movement...

    Watch nerds please help me

Time and date is all I need. Spend as much time as possible on/in the water all summer and often after dark so Lume is a must have for me. Im just not into the whole smartwatch thing, some of the garmins look pretty cool but the last damned thing i need is another screen in my life.

    Watch nerds please help me

Well boys, I have decided its time for a watch. Ive always had a thing for watches since I was a kid but havent worn one since I was in high school. Being a industrial mechanic is hard on stuff so I never purchased a decent watch as it would get worn about as often as my wedding ring maybe 5...

    Making 308 sexy again

Built my best friends boy this little guy a few years back. Did switch barrels in 6br and 308. The 308 has been great for him as there is a ton of bullet weights available, it doesnt beat him up to shoot at the range and funny enough seems like everything the kid points it at dies. Ive been a...

    Long-Range Hunting: Max Range?

I think people simplify this too much. I wouldnt say i have a max range as this changes with the rifle carried, the game pursued and the wind conditions. The area I live in and do most of my hunting is pretty wide open, not much in the way of cover for stalking. I honestly dont remember the last...

    Hunting Dog Breeds

When it comes to anything german pointer related in my experience, they are almost impossible to beat in the field, english pointers have better noses but german pointers have great noses, tough as nails, seemingly never ending energy. The problem comes with living with them, all the best ones...

My name is Caleb, and I run laps.

Dear Omega watch guy, Thank you for the never ending entertainment you provide. The questions you ask on the Sunday Q and A have brought joy to many. Stay the course young man and you will be shown the path... or you will have run enough laps to do an ironman either way its a win.
