The brown truck dropped this off last night. I’m pretty dang impressed. The quality on this is unmatched, out of the box was shaving patches of arm hair. Sometimes the word “heirloom piece” gets used like a marketing gimmick, not so with this. It will last multiple generations. Excited to get...
Well this sucks haha. Finally got out to get this optic dialed in. 5 rounds in and this little chippy appears on the inside of the back lense. Y’all ever seen this happen before? Hell was just shooting 5.56. I reckon Trijicon will make it right but still kind of a kick to the nuts. Some range...
I will have to check that out for sure. I found this page in my Grandpas Bible. Splits it up pretty well I like how each day you cover something a bit different gospel, law, poetry etc.
I have an old set of Turkish Woodland BDUs i snagged on the cheap from Americana Pipedream. Works perfectly in Central Texas for stalk hunting. Took awhile to get the smell of Turkish cologne and cigarettes out of it though. Pants, shirt, and jacket may have put me back 30 bucks. 🤣
Made sure to snag one of the White Oak Winkler’s when they dropped today. Will be my first. Figure i’d come to y’all to get feedback and insights on them. Hell post up some pics of them in use to make it interesting. From what i see looks like i’ll be handing this down to another generation...
Texas Chili Parlor. Downtown Austin right by the Capitol. Mad Dog margaritas, and a big heaping bowl of chili never misses. Crazy place for people watching for sure. Cowboys, punks, bikers, hippies, libtards, and the occasional politician. Never know what you’re gonna get but they all cohabitate...
I treat Tudor kind of like others treat Rolex. It’s my bucket list watch which I will probably acquire at or near retirement in about 20 years. Would love a Rolex but if i’m gonna dish out that money probably gonna use it for a kickass experience that i’ll be talking about till I die. Africa...
As a family once a year we make a pot of campfire beans, and a couple skillets of cornbread. We then watch Lonesome Dove start to finish. Look forward to it every year, usually on a cold day in February.
This will be the year i read the whole Bible cover to cover. Gonna stay active and practice moderation. Never hunted our property with a deer stand. My boy turns 6 come July. Building a stand in the off season will be in order so I can introduce him to the life I love.
Recently got a Gladiator. Liking it so far, although miss the cabin space and bed space my old f-150 afforded. Got A 1950 Studebaker truck in the garage as well. Currently need to rebuild the carb though haha.
