It is some truly excellent stuff but you also have to really like bourbon to get into it at that price. I'm a Turkey fiend and that bottle has been my favorite behind only the RR15 and Beacon from them.
Alabama ABC is a pain to work with so it can surprisingly be hard to find there, but if you keep an eye on their website they will release single barrels occasionally. If you like coffee, tobacco, and chocolatey whiskey, Dettling is where it's at.
Clyde Mays doesn't actually distill their own whiskey, it's all sourced from MGP in Indiana. Dettling on the other hand makes some incredible bourbon and rye in Atmore, AL. Seth is the man and if there's any brand that FE should collab with it's them.
