Agree with @Charlie Benton, Seikos are a solid choice for everyday wear, field/water use, and for dinner.
Other good options to consider are Luminox and Longines.
Drahts are great and will definitely get the job done for you both in the field and for waterfowl.
A few questions...
Have you ever trained or worked with a pointing breed like the Drahtaar? Definitely quite a bit different than what you would expect with a Chessie (or Lab, as you mentioned)...
Never thought I’d ever be starstruck yet here I am, unable to find a way to formulate thoughts and word into a sentence.
OWG I’m sure your cardio only comes second to the size of balls you have to out yourself on here.
We salute you 🫡
+1 for the Mexican Wedding Shirts. Close second are the FExChoona Hoodies. Both are solid in the field and can double as hunting shirts and church shirts on Sunday.
Well one thing I'll never do is tell another man how to spend his money. You want the .45, get the dang .45.
The usual reason behind choosing a 9mm over a .45 is that a 9mm is typically easier to fire, and people tend to be much more accurate with a 9mm than with a .45 (or 40 cal).
Will this...

In the illustrious words of Ricky Bobby: "The room's starting to spin real fast... cause, cause of the gayness..."
Pretty sure if you have to ask whether or not something's gay, that means it probably is.
