I'm a young paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division, and I'm not enjoying my time here so far. I'm treated very poorly, and it's not a very professional environment in my opinion. How did you handle the first few years with the paras? It's been wearing me down.

This is a problem with motivated individuals in the military - you find the unit you’re in doesn’t come up to your standards.
For starters you need to try and excel, then either climb to a position where you can change things or move to a different unit or role in life. Whatever you decide, keep focused on your goal.
