Well I can't believe how time flies. Have been planning for this brown bear hunt since the first of the year. Slowly at first, just piling gear in the guest room. Then in the last month getting serious about staging gear, buying new gear and making lists. Now down to three days (leave Thursday). I think I have it all packed into two larger duffels.

Blaser R8 375 with 2 scopes pre sighted in + oil wipes
2 boxes of Federal trophy bonded ammo
kuiu 1 person tent
Kuiu pack
Kuiu Down bag
6 back up freeze dried meals+ bio stove and a butane stove (butane to be obtained in King Salmon)
2 surefire flashlights +2 headlamps
multiple knives/kill kit+ first aid kit+ survival kit
wet wipes and body wipes
of course layers of clothes - planning from warm to fucking miserable cold and wet
Meindl boots + Kuiu Down Booties + Waders and Wading Boots
10 x 40 binocs - no spotter as guide has one.
Packable rain fly for glassing shelter
hiking poles
Audio books downloaded, paperback thrown in. a zip lock.
Camera

What am I forgetting?

Bring an extra pair of shorts, especially hunting the big brown bears... Shit happens!

Good luck! bucket list hunt for me.
I would seriously reconsider not bringing a tripod and spotter, if you have a quality spotter and tripod I would 100% bring it as brown bear is a glassing game. Glassing for hours with no tripod sucks, get a mount for your bino's too if its not too late.

Well I got it done - Amazing hunt!. Some photos here with the Kutana review I did. Honestly the best clothing system for this particular hunt.
