@Mike Schoby has a triathlon event you should try.

Used to work the WI course from kayaks for your swim and on the GS for the out-of-town road course stuff. What's your next event and where will the FE beer tent need to stage?

Nice! I've never done Wisconsin, but was just in Madison a few weeks ago touring the University with my daughters. I'd say there's a pretty strong chance one (or both, I have twin daughters, kill me) attends University of Wisconsin. If either do, I will do IMWI in 2027. And can CERTAINLY use a beer tent and or some FE motivation when running down State St!

So, unfortunately UW-Madison is nowhere near what it was. If she's truly an adventurer, well versed in weapons and BJJ.....? Here's a taste of what the local NGO/SPLC/Rainbow coalitions have in store for her....

Yeah, State St was a bit different from what I remembered last time I was there, granted that was 20+ years ago. Still though, great University and awesome location, especially when you can enjoy the lakes.

Sorry to threadjack, but no.

We stopped running support for the swim as the lakes are so full of PFAS, it's literally killing dogs. Can't bring the dogs with, we can't do it. Madison is far advanced, but no different from Portland/L.A./NY City; a homeless industrial complex supported by a DA and AG "controlling crime" by not reporting the crimes.

A 17 yr Patrol Sgt told me for the first time in his PD career, he got physically sick; the woman had been raped, and beaten/broken so badly he thought she was dead until he heard her gurgling. Yes, that was on campus.

Sorry to thread jack, but if the Truth saves your daughter's life, here it is.

No shit? That is crazy. Seems like kids (and residents) are always in Lake Mendota (I know the Ironman swim is in Monona).

Sad to hear about that girl. Unfortunately seems to be far to common in many bigger cities these days. Still, as an out of towner, I enjoyed my time in Madison and think it is very likley one of my daughters end up attending UW in the Fall of 2027.
