I'm the type of guy who buys and wears only one pair of jeans that fit well, look good and perform. A slim/tapered fit, at least some stretch and durability are a must. However, in the past several years every single pair of jeans I've worn have eventually torn apart in the crotch. The vinegar walkway spot. Sizing and cut are always an issue as well. I've worn Levis 511 and others, Luckys, Wranglers, Volcom Vortas, Barbell, and Amazon brand. None tick all the boxes and most seem to be far cheaper construction than they used to be years ago.

Anyone have any solid suggestions for jeans that can handle anything you can throw at them? Ones that are good for the casual office, on the gun range and in the mountains.

I’ve been using The Perfect Jean for years and I generally like their stuff. The quality consistency for some of the finer details has gotten wonky but if you just email them, they’ll send you a replacement or refund.

Don’t be a hater. JNCO jeans went out of style for a reason
🤣 I had to look up JNCO. Didn’t know they existed and I’m glad they’re out of production.

@b.t.kelley With time, I blow the crotch/seat out of every pair of pants I own due to my large thighs. Filson makes a hardy denim jean. I don’t know if they sell them in a skinny and tapered but worth taking a look.

On the biz casual side, I’ve had a lot of luck with Lululemon’s Anti Ball Crushing “ABC” pants.

Yea I stopped shopping for jeans like Jnco at PacSun when I was in middle school. Definitely not skinny jeans. I'm not a left wing hipster in Brooklyn who couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. The slim/tapered don't have excess and let the ladies get a look at my athletic bottom half without making me look like I have a rainbow bumper sticker.

Definitely good suggestions so far. Been curous about perfect jeans, 5.11 and Vertx. Have to check out Prisim and Filson.

What size are you? I still have some new Vertx jeans laying around.

I have been buying Revtown jeans for years now. I have yet to break a pair. The only reason I've replaced any is due to getting fat and then getting thinner but not skinny. Perfect amount of stretch and they make three sizes including slim fit (which I do not and cannot wear due to my thighs).

American Eagle "Athletic Skinny" and "straight" depending on foot wear are my go to for years.
They meet all your criteria.
I support them even more since they told liberals to fuck off when they used Sydney Sweeney for ads.

These are the straights with cowboy boots

Amen! I run mostly Vertx pants and Origin jeans, but HAD to signal our Home's virtues with (4) pairs of Sweenrys, and guess what? They rock with your Glock and they're comfortable AF.

Now, the skinny jeans can be turned in with the 6.5C at most Subaru dealers near you, or @Ron Dan next LAV Rally....
