I have dealt with the cartel I would have a truck gun .38 get off me gun and work with whats on me gun the beretta or what ever hi cap suits you, then a rifle in 5.56 or 308
I know it's personal preference, I personally never cared for the Beretta's.. it always felt like I was trying to grip a 2x4... My agency used them briefly before transitioning to the Glocks and Kimbers. The Kimbers corroded if you got anywhere near the water.
I've always been a fan of the Glock 17/19.. but I absolutely love my Shadow Systems MR920.. it's built for CQB...
I'm also a fan of the 1911's especially some of the modernized versions with light rails and reflex sights..
Same with the Browning Hi-Powers
