On Christmas Eve mornings in the Mississippi Delta, we'd hunt whitetail. My father is first generation Chinese American whose older brother ran a grocery store. If we killed a deer that morning, we'd load it up and head to my Uncle Alfred's store/lumber yard and hang the carcass in the butcher department cooler. Then we'd work in the store sacking groceries and loading lumber until closing. When all the shoppers and clerks went home to their families, we'd butcher and package the deer meat before having our family Christmas at Aunt May's house.

What haliday hunting traditions do y'all observe?

If you don't have one, get your ass up and start one.

Merry Christmas!
