Ron's post on used gun find got me thinking - it would be interesting to know the gun shops guys have to stop in if they are in town.

I can start.

Bozeman: Montana Tactical - excellent shop with a great selection of unique/hard to find new products and always some interesting high end stuff - both modern and historic. The husband and wife owners are top notch and really know their stuff. Worth a visit if you are passing through Montana this summer.

Ennis, Montana - Shedhorn Sporting Goods. Full selection sporting goods store - camp/hunt/fish but an excellent used gun selection. Have bought Colt woodsman's there, Custom high end bolt rifles and some great revolvers. Trends much more classic wood and blued steel than modern.

For the Atlanta area, Martin’s Firearms is a great shop.

Colorado: The Gun Room in Lakewood, and Old Steel in Englewood. Both are excellent experiences and great settings.

In Oklahoma: Dong’s Guns and Ammo is a favorite just for the name. Sports World is cool, too - they have an old bank teller line from the 1800’s in the back.

Freedom Firearms in Las Vegas. Literally the only shop where you can buy a brand-new Vang Comp shotgun off the shelf, aka a unicorn gun. And they stock Federal's Tactical "Law Enforcement Only" FLITECONTROL 00 Buckshot... making that the unicorn poop? (Schoby, thank you for starting this thread, which blessed the world with that extended metaphor.)

Does Freedom Trading have a brick and mortar, or is it just an online shop?

Shedhorn has the best used rack that I’ve seen in a while.

The upstairs section of Kevin’s in thomasville, GA is pretty special.

Ok, I've been to Freedom Firearms in Vegas, I thought Freedom Trading was more of a online store. Been waiting for them to restock the Vangcomp 865
Oh, yeah, sorry, didn't notice that you changed from "Freedom Firearms" to "Freedom Trading" in your response to my post. I don't know anything about Freedom Trading.

Yup, my bad. You did say Freedom Firearms, which is a great store. Don't live in Vegas, so haven't bought anything from them other than some mags when I was in town last year. Probably just had Freedom Trading on my mind sine I've been stalking their site for that Vangcomp SBS.

I have to give my old friend a plug here , this shop is one of the oldest around , He takes in many estates and collections after
their owners are finished with them.

South of Boston in Weymouth MA - Hunters Trading post

But this one would be my dreamstore
