I have a car fridge/freezer that I use to bring beer and ice into the woods. If I'm concerned about damaging it, I'll transfer any booze I'm taking into a stainless steel bottle.

I’ve had the same system for years. I go buy a plastic pint of shitty bourbon, pour it out, then fill it with something worth drinking.

When a kill is made, we pass it around.
I prefer my metal flasks to plastic, but same concept... Fill with good bourbon or scotch and share.

This last year picked up the “field kit”, leather 2 bottle carrier that comes with 4 cups. It’s now a tradition for us to christen every hunt or experience with it. We just decided on the last hunt to get a mini brand of a palm tree and we carry a lighter. It gets a palm tree brand on the case for every experience. View attachment 4499View attachment 4500
I like this!

I like a really cold beer from a well loved/used/abused cool-box when in Africa. I have a couple of travel koozies in the pack too. Always nice to celebrate a good result when you’re in the bush.
