5-shot, snub-nose 38 spl sub $300.
Right out the gate, I know there are better, more reliable, harder hitting, more accurate firearms out there right now.
I am purchasing this one and want to hear if anyone has had reliability, comfort or carry issues with it?

I don’t own a Heritage. I think these are made near or in the same building as some of the Taurus revolvers. I will probably be corrected on that. I enjoy the one Taurus revolver that I own and have had zero issues. With that being said, I’m sure your local pawn shop has a S&W 642 or equivalent .38 revolver used for around that price. Not saying the Roscoe wouldn’t serve you well, but I’m staking my life on a J-Frame if I’m carrying a wheel gun.

Safe $ get used j frame if really desire.
Otherwise G 43 43X sw bodyguard 2.0 Kel-tech p32
Had a BG 2.0 previously and it didn't work well for me ergonomically so I had to get rid of it. Just wasn't training with it since it wasn't comfortable for me.

Any recs for a pocket carry holster for it?
So this is going to be the exact size as a Taurus 85 when you’re looking for fits on holsters. My two favorite pocket holsters (although I don’t pocket carry anymore) are the Blue Force Gear Ultracomp and the DeSantis Nemesis.

Thoughts on the Safariland Model 25 or similar style holsters? Looking at the Ultracomp & Nemesis, they look a bit wide for my pockets. Safariland Model 25 looks slender enough to not bulge.

I have no personal experience with this exact holster but you can’t go wrong with the quality of Safariland products. On pocket holsters, I really like having a wing or snag device that will keep the holster in your pocket when you draw in a hurry. This particular holster looks like it relies on the tacky outer leather to stick inside your pocket. Depending on the material and stitching on your pocket, this may or may not work well.
