Howdy, I’m Will, originally from Texas hill country but Alaska the last 20-years. Known as Wildwillalaska on most outdoor and hunting forums. Small town lawyer after escaping big firm life to try and enjoy as much time outdoors as possible. Hunting and fishing fanatic, lover of high places in remote wild. After hunting exclusively in Alaska for just over 19-years, took a desert bighorn in Sonora, first guided hunt in my life, and then a trip to Africa that multiplied into a few with more to come. Currently have double gun and dangerous game fever, but expect to find a level of moderation in a decade or two if I survive.

Cheers,
Will

Welcome Will! I've heard how beautiful Alaska is, but I have yet to go.

Africa will do that to you!

Welcome aboard Will! My dream hunts are to hunt Mountain Goat and Dall Sheep in Alaska... I had a Dall Sheep hunt actually booked years ago when I was a General Manager for Boeing and then 9-11 happened and I promptly switched careers going in Law Enforcement Special Operations. I never made enough money to set aside to book one after that here we are 25 years later.. (My hourly wage dropped from $47+ an hour in 2001 to $19 at the cop shop).. I made it back and got up $80+ an hour at the cop shop, but over the past 25 years $80 an hour doesn't get you what $47 used to 25 years ago, LoL 😂...
At any rate, I envy you guys in Alaska! Beautiful state with lots of great outdoor fun!
