Howdy from west Texas. Didn’t realize I was supposed to do this till I saw the 50% profile completion, sorry for the tardiness.
I’m a drilling/workover/completions superintendent for an oilfield water midstream company. Used to run downhole tools and artificial lift equipment, which afforded me the opportunity to work all over the US and a couple hitches offshore and overseas.
Grew up in rural central Texas, have been in the outdoors all my life ranching/hunting/fishing. I’ve got 4 awesome kids and the oldest will be 4 this summer, so don’t get out like I want to, but try to go on at least 1 Alaska fly fishing trip, 1 long weekend hunting trip, and 1 random fly fishing trip with my cousin a year.
Currently have my eyes set on saving up for a desperately needed barn, and a dall sheep or caribou hunt. Kids future funds are taken current precedent though, so just have to keep dreaming and living vicariously through some of yall for now.
I’m glad to be here, it’s like having a version of my Thursday night beers with the guys in my pocket all the time.
