Hey all!

Name's Steve.

Grew up in Maine and now living in TN – but have lived all over the US (ME, MA, NY, NJ, OK, KY, TN, IN, FL, PA...).

Was an artillery officer in the US Army – 101st Airborne. Worked across the US, in the UK (short exchange at Sandhurst), and other parts of the world, including Afghanistan. Now in the "business world."

Favorite hunting place (if not place in general) is Africa. Second favorite place is South America – Peru especially.

If there is a chance to head out on any sort of adventure, I am down for it.

Let me know if I can be of service!

Have also written 2 FE articles:

Outstanding, welcome!
If you need some practice, feeling a little rusty, as Badger Brigade 144th Commander I do hereby annoint thee FireMission Op (HockeyPucksfromHell) Chief: From MY shores of the Mississippi you'll be taking out downtown Minneapolis, copy? Travel orders to follow....

I enjoyed your articles Steve, well done! Good to meet you. What part of Maine did you grow up in? I’m originally from the County myself, Fort Fairfield to be exact.

I'll be honest... I have utterly no idea what that means.

I think we may come from different generations?

I graduated, went to gunnery school, went to the 101st Airborne, went to Afghanistan and led a hybrid 105mm/155mm gun platoon shooting bad guys.

Oh... I also train K9's for fun (schutzhund) and have competed in some American Quarter Horse competitions – very "novice" level though

Right, most probably not familiar with GenX fuckery-punk funnology. I'll find the translator App......i

lolol probably not!
Actually a great primer, pre-GenX, but have you seen the (1970) film Catch-22? I don't believe a translator App is actually legal right now, the HAGUE has deemed such activity as terroristic behavior (communicating with foul humour). However, you have worn THE uniform (U.S. Army) and have been "over there", you get the gist of the grist in these gallows humor. Drive on Brother! Welcome!

Welcome Steve, swing by the SCI show which will be in Nashville and track us down. We'll have a handful of the FE team at the show.
