Enlisted as an aerial gunner on AC-130a's and did nothing terribly exciting. Became an officer and still did nothing terribly exciting, but got paid more. Retired and became a high school teacher. Now fully retired. Chase my Setter anywhere I can find birds and occasionally make split-bamboo fly rods in my garage.

Hunted South Africa twice and Alaska when stationed there. Scheming constantly on how and when to return.

I spend time on Keowee every summer fishing, and around Asheville a few times on the fly. Love the Upstate! Hoping to chase some turkeys over there this spring.
