I grabbed my trusty old shotgun and a couple of shells and ran back down to the yard.

He was out of sight, but gobbled again behind my shop.

Using my shop as a screen, I ran down there and poked around the corner to see him just about to hop the fence to the neighbor's pasture. I put the bead on his head, the way the good Lord intended, and sent some shot his way.

Thank you Charlie.

I haven't seen my mom in four years, and she was sitting in the yard reading my FE articles online and giggling.

Hope you had a good day.
We had a great day, dude. Glad your mom enjoyed the print journal. Someone mentioned your "Dinner with a Schmuck" article the other day and the fact that the guy hand-loaded his buddy's ashes into his African rounds.
