My Snapchat was banned

I’m lobbing Hail Marys here but I posed a photo of a gun I’m wanting to sell onto a very exclusive Snapchat private story (roughly 40 guys I knew wouldn’t report the post) and their AI flagged it and banned my account. They are not letting me retrieve the photos and videos I had saved on there, it’s mostly dumbassery from high school and nights I can’t otherwise remember from college but what I care about is pictures of farm and duck dogs that are sadly no longer with us. There’s also 5 years of images sent back and forth between my fiancé and I that she can’t retrieve either. There’s plenty in there that I could take it or leave it but those dogs dying tore me up more than some of my relatives passing. I’ve reached the limit to what I can do (appealed the ban, it was denied, claimed my account was hacked, haven’t heard back). If anybody can help or get me in touch with someone who can, I will reward you as handsomely as possible, consider it a bounty for my photos and videos.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dogs.

I just went through the same on X with a paid/preferred/Verified account; can't even access the appeal process, as they removed my e-mail addy from the account itself to log into. Filed a complaint with the BBB to get my $$$ back, and X/Twitter didn't even bother to respond. Is SnapChat affiliated with a bigger platform, or is it a stand alone?

I think it’s standalone. All it seems like I’m communicating with there is an AI bot unfortunately. Sorry to hear that about your situation. I figured X/twitter would be better than others with this kind of issue

I'm not in Snap or anything else for that matter. Wife does IG for her fabric hobbies, that's it. @Badger&Boar was my X handle thing-a-ma-bob......these AI censorship deals have created a new market for freedom, otherwise they ARE literally stealing our shit.

The AI reported and banned me before a human saw the post, crazy fast. They’ll push softcore porn to any and everybody, including minors. Posting guns, conservative, Christian, etc content gets flagged or banned in one form or another. AI may have its uses but I think it’s good enough they can stop working on it last week. Maybe not, I just grow shit and sell it for a living so what do I know
