So far I’m loving it. Put a few down range with just iron’s thumps a little harder than my Marlin 1865SBL which is to be expected. Shorter barrel and lighter weight. But nothing drastic. I’ll take it back and zero the dot in. Then hope to fine a place to go here in Texas soon. I don’t know a lot of folks with land.
I also have the SilencerCo 46m I’m going to run on it. But I couldn’t find my direct thread cap for it. (Had it on a different gun with a Q keymo mount)
I’ll definitely do
Some reporting back. Soon. I hope.

Just picked up my 1st 45-70 yesterday; Taylor & Co/Pedersoli, 1:18" twist which I guess is more accurate for the 400+gr loads. However, I found a stash of the Hornady 325gr FTxs, at least I'll have some brass stash around... Drive on Brother!
