New gun day

Picked up this 629-1 44 magnum yesterday on a trade.. Original box, Original grips and these black ones that are on it.. Ordered a set of VZ grips and a leather crossdraw holster for it. Figure it'll be a mean bear hunting pistol for driving the laurel here in PA where shots are always under 50 yds..

I absolutely love VZ grips but it would be hard to replace those Pachmayrs. Nice gun!

Afraid of beating up those pachmayrs or the originals.. we’ll see what feels better in the hand once the new VZ’s show up.

I meant with the diamond grip or smooth but that tan and stainless look will be great.
