I like old stuff you can't get anymore, oftentimes way over the new stuff. I have an LC Smith side-by-side, some WWII stuff. On my need to acquire list - M1 Garand, Cold Woodsman, Savage 99, Camp Carbine. Maybe a Fox someday. For sure a Winchester 21 is on the list.

What's on your list?

I agree! I'm a huge fan of LC Smith and have an old 16 ga double that I absolutely adore! Anything designed by John Moses Browning strikes a chord in me. I have a wonderful Winchester 1897 16 ga, a couple Model 12 Winchesters, and an old Belgium Browning Auto 5...
I also have a Savage Model 99 mfg'd in 1920 in 300 Savage that is a favorite.
I also have a matching set of Winchester Model 24s in 20 ga, 16 ga and 12 ga, that I had Turnbull Restoration completely restore and gold engraved a pheasant and a grouse on either side of the receivers.. the Model 24 is an underdog but I'm a fan of underdogs!

Remington 788's. A solid representative sample of each chambering and variants is the ultimate goal. And the occasional stray Pre 64 M70 that needs a loving home...

They’re shockingly accurate guns. I hope you plan to use yours on a bison hunt.
Some day maybe. I took a bison with a marlin 1895 (classic version) in 45/70 a few years back in MT on Ft Peck Reservation. Went with some friends of mine from there. If I ever do it again I’ll definitely use the sharps. Going to try and take an antelope with it one of these falls.
