Over the years I've accumulated a wide assortment of suppressors....but really didn't purchase strategically for most versatile coverage. It made me think about any holes in "coverage" I may have.

If you had to pick 3 suppressors for the widest range of versatility, what would your picks be?

Ill start by saying that I am not a fan of do it all Suppressors. They always disappoint me.

If I was going with 3 "most use" cans I would get

- .22lr can. Most are rated for higher now so you could throw it on .22, .17hmr, 5.7, etc...

- .30 cal can. 300 blackout, 6 arc, .223, .308 can all run through it

-9mm can. Ive never been overly impressed by any other pistol caliber cans I've shot and you can use it pistol or pcc with good results.

There are a lot of other calibers I have silencers for but these are the 3 core everyone should have imo. Going to 4 and 5 i would add a .223 and something specialty like a resilient putnik or a CAT Noah for 6 arc or maybe a shotgun suppressor.

Hard to just pick three, but this would be my list out of all the cans I have.

Rimfire-Thunderbeast 22TD suppressor

Hard use 5.56- Surefire SOCOM or DA Sandman-K

Precision 30cal- Thunderbeast Ultra or Magnus.

And a 4th if you have a PCC- 9mm can
My MP5SD is one of my favorite guns to shoot.

I’ve grown fond of my Kgm RF22 for a 22 can.
I have more time behind my omega 300 than I do my scythe ti. The omega 300 has been an impressive can and worth the extra weight and cost savings. If I had to choose a third it would be a toss up. I do enjoy shooting my pistols suppressed from my osprey 45 or my omega 9k. The hybrid 46 I have could be the buy once cry once can. It’s a little long and heavy to run on a full size pistol but at the same time you can shoot a 338 lapua through it if you desire.

I’m not sure if anyone is ever theoretically restrained to three cans. But if they are.

Go buy a KGM RF22 for your small bore fun. An omega 300 for an absolute work horse 30 cal can that can take a beating. And for the last.. get a hybrid 46. Use it for everything. It’ll do a great job with anything it’s on.

Ive used a bunch of different ones. And picking 3 is tough in today's world with everyone with a cnc or printer making cans.

Some of the oldies that just work are the thunderbeast, lane scorpion TI and the mack brothers

Some of the new ones I'm about the test are the echo Zulu, t&k and updated scythe ti

I’m still on my way to purchasing others and my list would probably change if I had a dedicated 22lr suppressor. I’m also abandoning the “do it all” approach and I’d rather own a can for every weapon that’s tailored to its caliber. For now, based on what I own:

1) Rugged Alaskan 360 - large bore rifles using taper lock adapters on all rifles and direct thread pistol conversion pistons

2) OSS (now Huxwerks) - anything DI AR15 or AR10 based [need to seriously consider adjustable gas blocks too to hit the sweet spot for timing]

3) Aero Precision Lahar 30 - dedicated subsonic 300BLK can, works great on DI with adjustable gas blocks and fits under most handguards for compact form factor backpack/truck gun
