This is the way. You would do two 911s?They definitely are.
IMHO, I think it's due to several factors - the culture of the company itself, the transparency of their manufacturing/engineering, the emphasis on very fine craftsmanship, the very healthy number of models, and the overall "cohesive" feel of their cars. In other words, I think Porsche wants their cars to be driven - and they build them with that intent in mind.
If I could, I would have two Porsches. One as a great road driver, and the other as an off-roader.
I don’t know if you follow Matt Farah from The Smoking Tire but he said at one point that a Safari build 911 like this is his favorite vehicle. They’re practical and fun.Now that you ask... I would probably do 1. Find an older "used" 911 and go with an off-road package. I also know I would use it a lot...

Same. But still about a year away. Just dont want to bring on New England's salty roadsI am getting serious now searching for a vintage 912 - FE friends are helping fuel the addiction.
I do not follow him... but I will definitely take a look now. The quality of the Porsche engineering, from the inside out, really allows these cars to be pretty robust...I don’t know if you follow Matt Farah from The Smoking Tire but he said at one point that a Safari build 911 like this is his favorite vehicle. +1 to this side note. The level of salt that New England public work departments apply to their roads in the winters destroys the undersides of vehicles (personal experience).Same. But still about a year away. Just dont want to bring on New England's salty roads
Ah yes, I remember those days well. My daughter's club team went to Nationals her last 3 years in a row. $$$My dream car budget is currently being spent on club volleyball and its worth it.

haha! Yes I understand the $$$ my daughter has been on a top team for the past 4 seasons and this is the first one we aren't going to nationals and I will admit that we all (including her) are happy we aren't this year. The team is good but very inconsistent and several of the girls have never played with that kind of atmosphere and pressure and we have no chance at finishing in gold and probably would get smoked the first day. Family vacation here we come!Ah yes, I remember those days well. My daughter's club team went to Nationals her last 3 years in a row. $$$
It's funny how much more time and money I have now, but I wouldn't trade those years and trips with her for anything
Thats a hitter right there! Love the yellow!View attachment 5760
I'm not sure it's the best car I've ever had, I'm going to keep trying more to find out, but it was pretty close. No seller's remorse, it was time to drive something different but this GTS was an almost perfect combination of power, handling and daily driving refinement.
