I love things with a good story behind them. Like my Land Rover Discovery II, it's a 2000 "Launch Edition" which means it painted in a color called Kinversand. Only 200 were made and not many are left.
Along those lines, when I graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp on 1993, my dad gave my his Sig P226. I've carried it for years and never really thought about it other than it is a great and reliable pistol. Recently, I came across a post somewhere in which they mentioned there were a few with misprinted slides. They were supposed to say "Tyson's Corner, VA" but the misprints say, "Lyson's Corner." Again, only a few made it out before the factory discovered the misprint.
I went and checked mine and lo and behold, I have one of the Lyson's Corner 226's.
Anyone else have any unusal firearms?
