I haven't watched this -

But in terms of books, I recommend:

John Adams and 1776, both by David McCullough - really great history, really great writing
The Revolution Trilogy, by Rick Atkinson - He's still writing book 3, but probably the best overall military history book(s) written on the Revolution. I wasn't able to put them down.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m going to task the wife on locating copies. She’s a voracious reader and is plugged into the library and Half Price Books scene.

Netflix recently added a bunch of Docs on founding fathers. Teddy, Lincoln, Washington, etc. I've been blasting through all of them. Which is really illuminating to hear their language again and marvel in just how intelligent and well read they were. Not perfect by any means. But creators of that perfect union. Highly recommend binging.

There’s no sports ball ball worth watching. I’ve got a plan for the weekend TV time now.

Thanks
