Was wondering if anyone has completed a Run And Gun match? There are a few upcoming matches within a couple hours of me here in Texas- including a NVG match- and I’m super interested…just seeing if anyone has completed one and has any advice for a first timer. Also- FE squad anyone? lol!

I’ve ran a couple here in the NC mountains. Both around 5k and @ 800’ of elevation change at the same location, one was a day match and one was at night. I ran in the white light division for the evening match. Quite a lot of fun and a great way to shake down your gear. Also quite humbling. Gave me a lot to work on.

I would say carry double the ammo you think you’ll need for your first match. There are several YouTube channels that have excellent info on run n gun. Here’s a couple I’d recommend-
Sudo Actual
Max McLean
OK Run and Gun

For a long time Dobiesz and I talked about doing one of these. I’m definitely down.

Awesome! I’ve checked out Sudo and that’s a great page! He’s local to me, those are the matches I’m looking to do
