Anybody have any experience with the Scurfa watch brand? It has a really cool design/back story. I also love the look, tool utility of it. I've been looking at picking up a Scurfa Diver One in titanium but wanted to hear from someone with experience with one on the wrist.

I dont personally have one , theyre highly prized and sought after , he often sells out quick. I have not come across anyone who's had one that has hated it or had problems they have a reputation of being highly rugged and reliable watches built by a guy who actually uses them saturation diving

I've heard the same thing. Seems like a very solid brand and well respected in the group of professionals that would know a good tool watch. Even so wanted to talk to someone about it, mainly it's wrist presence.

It is a solid watch that gives a big bang for the buck. I have 2 Diver One's. They are built to take a beating and you will not be disappointed!

I'll be pulling the trigger soon. Plan to do some solid testing this summer in the water so I'll let y'all know my thoughts after I do. I appreciate the feedback

Early in the watch game myself.

It seems like there are a lot of microbrands coming out right now. I like watches, I know I want to have a handful of them but I don't want to do the digging to undersrtand all these mircrobrands.

My next watch is going to be a pretty nice one. Then I want to find some cool unique ones that may not be that expensive but are good quality and cool.

It all depends on your view of watches. Some people place a lot of value on brand, others have have their own preference and style which guides them, some people balance both. There is value in some big name brands for sure but value can be had at any price point.

I've got a mixed bag and went deep down the micro brand rabbit hole a few years back. Style drives my preferences now more than anything.

My neighbor loves his Scurfa watches. Admittedly, I haven’t looked into them, but at skin deep, they have some good looking pieces. What’s their story? What movements do they use?

Pretty cool story. Scurfa Watches was started by North Sea diver Paul Scurfield, who basically built the kind of watch he actually needed on the job. They’re known for tough, no-BS dive watches—especially the Diver One—running reliable quartz movements (mostly Ronda) that can take a beating. The whole vibe is basically: real tool watches, tested underwater, not just made to look good on land.

Update to the thread: I actually just gota Diver One so I'll post some pictures and a review after a break in period.

Man, I really like the orange face ones. I wish they had a "Contact me when back in stock" button
The orange dial is beautiful. They recently stopped doing update emails and changed it to check at your own leisure. I check periodically so I'll shout it out if I hear anything

Awesome! Can’t wait to see it. Let us know how you like it.

Anybody have suggestions for straps? I have a couple 20mm natos I've been running but really want a hook and loop as well as a Marine National (MN) strap. I know companies like WOE and Erikas are the gold standard but not sure if they are worth the $

I really like the Paratrooper strap from CNS. They are so comfortable to wear and look the part.
