I'm late to the game, but I need to plan a senior trip for my son and I. He loves food, so we were thinking Italy maybe? Where should we go (location), and what should we do while we are there?

Bonus points if someone can hook me up with a banging travel agent.

Ox Ranch, outside Uvalde, is a pretty cool place. Trophy fees were not cheap but there's a ton of other things to do there.

I prefer Spain over Italy, and I would highly recommend Austria.

Where does he want to go?

My wife and I did Lake Como into Milan a couple years ago. We stayed in a Airbnb insome little village overlooking the lake, then traveled all around it and into Switzerland. Absolutely fantastic food everywhere.

I did chat with a guy at SCI this year from Perugia who is also a hunting guide, as we were looking to stay there for like a month or two. He told me to reach out to him if I needed any information about traveling, regardless of whether we hunted or not (still plan to). I could try to find his information if that would be of interest.

But we all know that the only acceptable senior trip is that shitty cruise that takes you to Cozumel to get plastered at Señor Frogs, then onto Montego Bay to buy grass from some sketchy guy who calls himself “the Pharmacist” in a roadside shack.

One of my daughters went to The Azores and said it was unbelievable for the senior trip , One also went to Spain, As far as TA's go not sure on your budget but AMPM group is the top catering- concierge agency, Look into Navan - Reed & Mackay also they are large in Europe. I am on the transportation side of the hospitality industry and these 2 seem to have the most interesting spots.

@Cagney You do know what we do at Outrider correct?

@Cagney Yall should do Running of the Bulls! If not that, the sky is the limit when you love to eat. Is he more of a beach, mountains, or city? Puerto Rico has amazing food and beaches - plus it is really easy to get to. For city, we took the family to Munich and that is an awesome city with great food and an easy train to go just about anywhere.

I like this idea - Running of the Bulls. Or do the Camino de Santiago with him. Great food and culture in either.
