Idaho. C'mon by - I'll hook you up. (y)
Where in Idaho? I'm in WA. I've got family and friends all through the St Marie's, and Rathdrum country and am over there visiting often. In fact in June I'll be driving through on my way to Kalispell Montana and again in July.

I'm on the other side of the state - I can pretty much throw a rock into Wyoming from my back yard.

Well, as it turns out I'll be in Wyoming (Jackson and Casper) in August.. next year I'll probably cash in my points for elk and Mule deer in Wyoming.. I apply every year for Idaho moose but my drawing luck sucks.. I used to hunt Idaho for elk and deer until I got into Montana

I'm waiting to hear on a ID moose tag right now. I'm feelin' lucky this year....☺️

Looks great!

We started doing charters for king's on Lake Michigan 4-5 years ago. I grew up there but didn't fish it much. Anyhow the first year we came back with a bunch of fish I looked up a recipe to do it. This is the first one I came across and it was so simple and good that I haven't swayed away from it.

Have you ever tried to put it in the fridge for a while like this recipe suggest? It creates a sticky layer over the fish which allows the smoke to adhere to the fish better.

No, I’ve never tried the fridge trick, but I think I will whenever I get around to another batch. Thanks! 👍🏼
