Leaving next Friday for Antibes. I could not have possibly planned any less for this trip, aside from booking flights and an house. The only thing I know at this point is that we promised to take our son to the beach and we are going to go see the Picasso museum.

Any cool bar, hangouts, or stuff to visit between Cannes and Monaco? I’m assuming there’s gotta be some cool racing stuff somewhere with the Monaco Grand Prix.

Between Cannes & Monaco is Nice - great beach but the whole of southern France is rock beaches, zero sand so bring water shoes. Since you're in for the Picasso museum, you might like the Matisse museum in Nice. Also, lots of Roman history in Nice, oldest continuous city in France! Founded by the Romans.

We ended up spending 2 days in Nice, 2.5 in Antibes/Juan-Les-Pins, and one in Monaco. We decided that one art museum was enough, so we left Matisse for another day.

Then I guess it's your turn to give recommendations for the next guy who comes across this thread.
Honestly, we traveled with a 3 year old, so there was no fine dining. Lots of beer and Italian food - can’t even remember the restaurant names.

Monaco was meh, and Nice was the best.

Antibes has a nice antique market on Thursdays and Saturdays if you’re looking for vintage watches or art.

Otherwise, drink on the beach.
