For me, it's my Kahr CW9. It came highly recommended and the size is great although it could use more capacity.

Unfortunately, I really don't like shooting it. The stupid-long pull of the trigger combined with the curved trigger face makes for a non-fun shooting experience.

I replaced the trigger with a flat faced trigger, but that has only rendered it okish to shoot.

I don't think I've carried it since I got my LCP Max.

So, what gun do you really wish you could like but don't?

The FN FS2000. It is SO MUCH of a BullPup, that's it was literally too small for me. To contort and weasel and go yoga for a decent shot? No. The quality of the everything about the thing was gorgeous, but it wasn't going to ever be used for offense or defense, just for giggles....

Remington 522 Viper. I still have it.

It was the first gun I bought myself. My mom took me and acutally bought it because I think I was 16 or 17. It was and is a complete piece of shit.

I could of got a Ruger 10/22 for the same price at the time. I have one now and its a gun everyone should own.

Do not speak about the tactical tuna like that. The FS2000 is an elite design.

I have some fond memories prairie dog hunting with a Remington 597 Magnum. Fun shooting gun but you can’t count on it feeding more than 3 shots in a row.

Savage 64F. Worst gun I've ever owned. When my wife and I were homeless living out in the Cohutta Wilderness in 2020 (story for another time), it lost us quite a few meals due to misfires, a squib, and this weird malfunction where it would just turd out a round at maybe 15 fps. Ended up giving it to a friend, who still can't get it to work right. Moved to a CZ 457 and never looked back.

Well you can’t just drop that nugget and not tell the whole story.

Yeah it was quite the adventure. I'll have to write about it sometime, may take a while but it's a story I'd love to share. One of the best and worst times of my life.
Looking forward to hearing the story and I’m glad to see you’re on the other side of those times.
