My go to drink is a Gin Gimlet...Im really liking Hendricks or Aviation and Bombay Sapphire if the other two aren't available. The Gimlet was Hemingway's go to while on safari and was made with Gordons. Either which way you go it doesn't have to be ice cold to enjoy.
2 Parts Gin
1 Part simple syrup
1 Part sweetened lime juice
Drink up!

I’m not a big gin drinker but I like a few every once in a while. However, my dad is. He really enjoys boodles and empress indigo gin.

Engine is probably my #1
Generous Gin for #2
And if i can ever find it Master Bobwhite for #3

Standard G&T but splash it with some pineapple juice. Its my go to wherever discerning gentlemen congregate. Light and refreshing, an all day any time anywhere drink.

I am a tequila man. But will enjoy a fine Gin when the occasion …and the company presents and warrants itself. I live in Wisconsin and have become partial to the Gins of the Driftless Glen Distillery in Baraboo. I am especially smitten with the Navy Strength Gin. And if ever in Rome, I might even recommend a stop at the Botanist Social, a small, dim-lit Gin forward establishment but nevertheless, what I will tell you is most certainly a Field Ethos Society Member-friendly sanctuary surrounded in an otherwise, progressive and woke cess-pool of what is Madison, WI.

Chicago distillery Koval makes an incredible dry gin, and an even better barrel aged gin (if you want an aged Negroni without waiting for it to actually age…). Go-to for most things, though, is Tanqueray or Tanqueray 10.

Monkey 47 for Negroni and on the rocks with garnish of choice
Barr Hill for all mixed applications
Barr Hill Tomcat for Negroni and Old Fashioned or Boulevardier, but not entirely a Boulevardier because you're still using Gin (it's just barrel aged)

If you haven't tried Barr Hill Tomcat - you need to go to the store or order it online immediately.

I’m not a big gin drinker, so I usually stick to having a bottle of Bombay around for when the mood strikes for a G&T. But I have really enjoyed the mulberry gin from Revelton, a local distillery here in Iowa. It makes an excellent mule with half a lime and ginger beer. Awesome for sipping on the deck on a humid summer night in the Midwest. IMG_1935.jpeg
