Wild Rice Planting for Duck Ponds

Any duck hunters in here ever planted wild rice in their duck ponds? We've got a nice size pond that holds between 6-12 inches of water year round but can dry out with drought.

Seems like wild rice can grow in standing water and ducks sure love it. Anyone have any experience or recommendations?

I did not watch this, but, on the MN DNR website, we have rice "season" in MN, they are a good resource.
