When you say north GA, where specifically?
When I got out of the USMC, my K5 Blazer broke down along the Chattahoochee River not far from Alto and Cornelia GA.. used the last penny I had to repair the truck and fill the tank... I ended up getting a job in a Tool and Die Shop in Gainesville and living out of my blazer bathing in the river and eating catfish until my first paycheck came in.. great times! North GA will always hold a special place in my heart!
