John, the hunting laws vary depending on what part of North Georgia you're in. HERE IS A GOOD RESOURCE. Not sure if you're looking at hunting public, private, or both, but a good piece of knowledge is that Georgia DNR has designated all national forest east of I-75 as buck-only, regardless of whether it's an either-sex day in that county and regardless of the weapon used. Feel free to fire away other specific questions and I'll do my best.
