Barrett is breaking out the big guns to celebrate the most American of birthdays. For the upcoming semiquincentennial, which is the absolute worst word ever contrived to describe this seminal birthday bash, honoring 250 years since America flipped off the crown, Barrett launched the America’s 250th Series. It brings serious celebratory firepower in a pair of striking Barrett .50-cals.
“America’s 250th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the values that define this nation and the people who have defended them,” said Bryan James, CEO of Barrett. “The America’s 250th Campaign is our way of honoring that legacy while directly supporting America’s veterans. These rifles represent more than craftsmanship and collectability, they represent gratitude, service, and our responsibility to give back.”
The release brings a mere 500 of these highly collectible rifles, dubbed the “Two .50s for 250.” The exclusive series consists of 250 20-inch Model 82A1 rifles and 250 20-inch M107A1 rifles. Each rifle comes adorned in Cerakote and patriotic themes unlike any Barretts we’ve seen before.
The 20-inch M107A1 rifles carry serial numbers FREEDOM001 through FREEDOM250 and feature a custom Cerakote finish with a subdued American 1776 flag design.

The 20-inch Model 82A1 rifles feature serial numbers LIBERTY001 through LIBERTY250 and are finished in a custom Cerakote design incorporating the iconic “Join or Die” snake motif.

As if badass .50-cal Barretts weren’t enough, each rifle comes paired with its own ‘hawk. A serial number matched set with a matching RMJ Tactical tomahawk specific to the rifle. The 82A1 comes with a Patriot Tomahawk; a Kestrel Tomahawk matches with the M107A1. A matching serial numbered commemorative challenge coin and certificate of authenticity signed by the legend himself—Barrett founder Ronnie Barrett—makes each rifle package truly unique. It all comes housed in a custom Pelican case with manual and sticker set.
Two additional matched sets of Model 82A1 and M107A1 rifles feature special serial numbers—LIBERTY1776 and FREEDOM1776, as well as LIBERTY2026 and FREEDOM2026. Those get auctioned to the highest bidder through Gunbroker.com.
One more part of this promotion really hits center mass. Barrett will conduct a special fundraising initiative in support of America’s veterans. From April 15 through July 31, 2026, those that donate $100 per entry can receive an unlimited number of chances to win a once-in-a-lifetime set of commemorative Model 82A1 and M107A1 rifles. Barrett will announce the winner August 3.
Proceeds from the donation-based drawing will benefit Disabled American Veterans (DAV), doubling down on Barrett’s commitment to honoring American history while giving back to those who served.
If you’re a shooter of any kind, odds are you revere the big Barrett .50. For anyone who served, it certainly holds a special place in our hearts. The Barrett America’s 250th Series delivers a lasting tribute to America and all who have served.
