Paul Howe is an absolute legend!Absolutely best class was CSAT IN Nagadoches, Tx. Taught by Paul Howe who is ex Delta Force. He was a Team Leader in Mogadishu. Read his breakdown on the handling of mass shooters. Law Enforcement is not properly trained in Texas
FTW is such an incredible placeI've had some great ones over the years: Rob Leatham, Bill Rogers, Dave Sevigny, Tim Kennedy, Eddie Penney, Jason Burton, James Yeager, FTW, Gunsite...Learned something from each of them. At this stage in life, I'm not trying to be Johnny Tactical, just want to build skills and have fun.
Steve Fisher is the man. Fortunate to call him a friend and his class was a great learning experience for me.Personal experiences with a few:
Chuck Haggard is a G. MUC, BUG, wheelguns, tactics
Yeti (Steve Fisher) covers fighting pistols, rifles, and shotguns
Bryan Eastridge/Darryl Bolke cover mostly revolver and BUG type classes
The Haughts (Symtac) for the gauge
Jedi for efficiency of motion with handguns
TCCC are great courses. I took a couple Caylen Wojik courses at the Yakima Training Center and he was a most excellent instructor. Here's some pics of him from them.I've spent the last 15 years a a lead firearm Instructor/range master for our department and have had alot of exposure to many firearms instructors, this is my go to list for guys looking for the best in several disciplines.
Rick Crawley (Achilles Heal)
Joe Dawson (Veles)
Phil Velayo (The Cadre)
Caylen Wojik (Modern day sniper)
Pat Mcnamara (TMAC)
Drew Estell (Baer Solutions)
Aaron Cowan (Sage Dynamics)
Steve Fisher "Yeti" (Sentinel Concepts) he's also my old neighbor and friend of the family.
William Petty (Centrifuge)
Edit: If your going to carry a gun for defense you NEED proper emergency medical training.
I've done a 1/2 dozen different TCCC classes and Dark Angel Medical is at the top of the list, worth every penny.
100% agree on Dark Angel Medical. They know their shit. I have their D.A.R.K. in all my vehicles and took one of their classes a couple of years ago. I wanted to go to their California class this year but I have a conflict that weekendEdit: If your going to carry a gun for defense you NEED proper emergency medical training.

Sign me up for this! I would love to take this class.I wonder if @Christian Craighead and I could ever line up our schedule and host a class at Skyfall. He could lead the pistols and I can work on rifle fundamentals.
