Best Value Bourbons Right Now? Anyone?

I drink bourbon. A lot. The best bang for your buck is Cooper’s Craft. $32 in NC, 100 proof and damn good. By far not the best bourbon. But best for under $40. You can reply back that I’m right after you try it.

It is some truly excellent stuff but you also have to really like bourbon to get into it at that price. I'm a Turkey fiend and that bottle has been my favorite behind only the RR15 and Beacon from them.

I drank BT for years as a daily until it became an allocation. Apparently we have WAY too many bourbon drinkers in the Charleston SC area. It’s tough to get any of the allocated bourbons here!

I’m one of those guys (ha). Unfortunately my rental car had already turned into a mobile package store and I couldn’t stomach another 300.00. Glad to hear it’s that good. May have to put my paws on it next time.

Early times bottle in bond 100p. Under $25 and very very drinkable. Also a liter and was damn good on Christmas day while cooking.
 
Buying bourbon now is like buying a house; the prices are maxed out and people jump on what they want. At around the $30 mark, it’s tough to consistently acquire real winners, and going up to around $50 to $75 really opens up your options. That said, it’s your mouth—if you love (or perhaps don’t prefer) the buttery vanilla notes prevalent in Buffalo Trace products or love (or perhaps don’t prefer) the high rye bourbon produced by Wild Turkey and Four Roses, then that’s your guiding light. Vice versa and back around again.

I’d be willing to try new ones until you dial in exactly what your preferences are. That way, you’ll know exactly what you think of the price tags you’ll see. The good news is the finest spirit in the world is made in the USA, and brother they are making a LOT these days! We’re in the second golden age of bourbon right now.

exactly. There is no right way to enjoy bourbon. Palettes are different as are tastes.
