Browning Citori 725 – 60 Second Review

We gun nerds, we diehard trigger pullers and all things of the gun — we get pretty locked into what is new and great from manufacturers. The new caliber, the new stock technology, and on and on it goes.

Then you get afield with a borrowed classic and it’s like undergoing a system reset from digital back to analog. And that can be a very good thing.

The Browning Citori 725 debuted more than a decade ago, standing on the shoulders of the famed Superposed and a stream of Browning over-unders that followed. And while there was a time when the American shooter balked a bit at manufacturing heading to Miroku, Browning nevertheless earned the trust of hunters back home and around the world.

Simply stated, the Citori, in all its forms, comprises an incredible double-gun base. From basic field models to purpose-built competition guns, the Citori remains one of the best choices in the over-under market.
