6. Most of my rifles were passed along to me from my papa and dad. I don’t really have a reason to venture to other calibers as the ones in the safe can do just about anything in the States. I would like to add the Lords Caliber: both Old Testament and New Testament.

Just the 2. 556 and 6mm arc. Mostly because small frame AR platform. Looking to add a bolt gun in .308 this year.

Ive honestly lost count. BUT to my credit I can find ammo for at least one of them whenever there is an ammo shortage so im never left high and dry for a hunting trip or shooting match 🤣

Same reason I have a 12ga, 16ga, 20ga and 28ga in the safe. I can always find for at least one of them.

A lot, and for many different reasons. Impulse buy, fills a gap in ballistics, curiosity, collectability, bargain finds, inheritance, a certain limited rifle recommendation by an industry pro, etc.. Guns, motorcycles, and guitars, and tooling, and trucks....there's SO much cool shit out there that has value and qualities which are infinite in variables......the Ruger No.1V in 22-250 from 50 years ago. The M37 DeerSlayer Dad gave me in '82 has a walnut depth to it you cannot find anymore for less than $3K. Gorgeous. I know, 12 ga is not a rifle....next time you have an itch for a Beretta 92, look at ALL the Italian made 92s; different assembly lines, different continent, WAY different triggers. Early 2000s SigArms 1911s? Don't get me started.....grrrrrr....latest rabbit hole; the 35Whelen.....America!

More than I'd care to admit and less than others more than likely. When it comes to tools, I don't like having a lot of overlap in capabilities- as such, in rifles I have 4 different goto's and some modern and some older but all serving a purpose in some form. 45-70 hog+ and typically when I need a short rifle that can deliver with authority in high brush or just the unexpected. 7PRC/6.8W for when I need to reach out and touch something- though this combination is particularly bothersome to me as they're nearly identical. I prefer the 6.8w for general all around NA but there's a lot more support of course for 7PRC- and it's just fun to shoot with added benefit of being able to rebarrel to 300PRC. 9.3x62 for deer+ and authority within 3-400yrds. Last, 22mag for fun of course.

6.5 CM
6.8 SPC
300 Blackout
30-06
Lords caliber
350 legend
450 Bushmaster

A lot of those I have more than one rifle in it. No particular reason on any other than the straight walls. Got those when Iowa allowed them. I don’t think I would own those two if it wasn’t for that.
