Sorry no advice to share. 5.4 lbs starting out weight she light and nimble.Should I buy? In other words... Is it worth the $ ?
Thanks Jeff, I agree very light!Sorry no advice to share. 5.4 lbs starting out weight she light and nimble.
Thanks brother! I had a feeling someone was going to say that (Im glad you did). I wanted the Ridgeline fft, but not after hearing all the horror stories. I'll check out the Seekins! Im looking for badass rifle in a 6.5prc.Unfortunately the brand is a crap shoot for accuracy anymore. I know too many people personally that have bought them and ended up returning them because they shot horribly. If you want light weight rifle look for the discontinued Seekins Element. The short action guns are 5lb 6oz. I have two and my buddy has three of them and they are tack drivers.
No problem! I wish Seekins didn’t change their design. The new model is way heavier. My friend has the old element in 6.5 prc and it is awesome. I have one in 6.5 woundmoor and 300 win mag. Here is mine with a javelina I just shot in NM last week. Thanks brother! I had a feeling someone was going to say that (Im glad you did). Good lookin rifle and kill!No problem! I wish Seekins didn’t change their design. The new model is way heavier. My friend has the old element in 6.5 prc and it is awesome. I have one in 6.5 woundmoor and 300 win mag. Here is mine with a javelina I just shot in NM last week.
Thanks! It is great for hoofing it around the foothills where I hunt. Javelina are amongst my favorite thing to hunt. I shot that one at 15yds. Next year I’m going to use my revolver. I love sneaking into the middle of them.Good lookin rifle and kill!
Thank you! At this point I am NOT going to buy, so many bad stores lol. What do you use?Absolutely do not buy. My (now traded in) Ridgeline FFT failed to hold a zero after the 4th day of a 14 day hunt in Zambia.
What are your thoughts on the Sauer 100? EuroOptic has them on steep discounts. I also have had my eye on the Bergara Highlander or Canyon. Any thought on those? My personal experience with my Ridgeline FFT is that it consistently shot great and I have no complaints. That being said, I, too, have heard enough anecdotes from others who have had significant issues that your hesitation is warranted.
@niacrtwi I'd suggest looking at the Browning X-Bolt 2 or the Springfield Waypoint 2020. I have both, have hunted with both, and can attest to the fact they are both solid choices.
My brother in Kalispell MT is selling his for the same reason..Unfortunately the brand is a crap shoot for accuracy anymore. Thanks Charlie!I haven't personally hunted with a 100 but I have hunted with their 505 and it's a great gun with about the smoothest, butteriest action in the history of actions. As a company, we used their 100 as the starting point for our Exception Rifle collab which you can read about HERE and watch a less-than-three-minute-film on HERE. @Ron Dan can probably answer any specific questions you have about the 100. No experience with the Highlander or Canyon.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Christensen. I have one in Lord’s caliber and it’s been great so far. Super light and easy to carry. Very versatile. Brought it to Crusader for plains game and it was great gun for the job. I guess there’s some lemons out there, but I like mine a lot.Should I buy? In other words... Is it worth the $ ?
