I didn't see a thread in the firearms section related specifically to drills.

I took videos of two I shot today.
The first is called the Old West's Shootist Challenge. The printable target can be found here. It's normally shot at 25 feet. I've been able to regularly land between 4/6 to 6/6 shots hitting the stamp. Today since it was raining and high 30's I figured I'd give it a go at 3x the distance putting me at 25 yards. I used my Smith 18-2 (a 4" 22lr K frame) and managed to put all 6 on the 5x5 square, but didn't get a hit on the center 1" stamp. First attempt was a fail, but it won't be the last. Here's the video:

The second drill is me shooting the Green Ops drill of the month. This month needs to be done with a rifle. This is setup at 15 yards, low ready (sights have to be off the target, I hold about the "feet"). On the beep, 2 rounds into a 3x5 index card setup horizontally. Raw time + 1 second for each miss. I shot it in 1.56 seconds clean. The only two rifle rounds I fired today. Here's the video:

Now further, I shot a B8 at 25 yard with a 98 3x score using my Taurus 692 shooting Speer Lawman 124gr 9mm.

I also shot a playing card drill (from the draw: 5 yards, 5 rounds, time cap of 5 seconds at a playing card) in 4.18 seconds clean.

Who else shoots drills regularly, and if so what types of drills do you enjoy?

@David Simerly stopped by this afternoon to install a new set of grips on my Kimber that he slicked up. He immediately made me shoot the Old West’s Shootist Challenge. It was my first shots through the revolver since he slicked it up, and first shots with these new grips, too. I’m pretty impressed with myself - first time go! 😅

You did really well even with the added stress of me putting you on the spot. I'm proud of you.

Two drills I shot yesterday. The first is the Justin Dyal 5 yard snub roundup. All 4 runs have a 2.5 second par time.
As follows:
1- 1 round from the holster.
2- 4 rounds from low ready.
3- 3 rounds primary hand only from low ready.
4- 2 rounds support hand only from low ready.
It's a quick 10 round drill. Maximum possible score is a 100. I tossed the last round into the 7 ring with a shit grip. My score was 96 4x.

The second was a standard slow fire B8 at 50 yards standing unsupported. This Smith 18 is a magic gun. Scored 92 2x using it and CCI Standard Velocity.

Achiles Heel DOPE drill is a favorite of mine.

DOPE Drill — Data On Previous Engagement

Purpose
Balance speed and accuracy. See where your recoil, vision, and engagement times actually are — not where you hope they are.

Setup
Shoot at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards.

5 rounds at each distance.

Use a man-sized target (e.g., IPSC or FBI-Q, or a similar target).

Execution
Snap up from a low ready or cover position.

Fire five rounds aggressively.

Track your hit factor: (Total Points ÷ Total Time).

This is indeed an excellent drill!

I built this drill about 15 years ago for a training tool with newer Officers, I call it "Fix your Shit".
It's a great tool for instructors to evaluate shooters fundamentals(Grip, trigger, sights) and emulates some stress with a minimal round count. Using 3 targets you can easily identify breaks in grip and fundamentals as they transition from target to target.
